Deacons of First African Baptist Church are committed to providing Biblical congregational care according to Acts 6:3. Deacons endeavor to ensure that every disciple and family of our church experiences the love, help and support of our entire congregation. The goal is to demonstrate love for God and others as the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) compels us to do. Deacons assist the Pastor by providing congregational care and ministering to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of each First African Baptist Church disciple and family.
