Youth Discipleship Ministry

The Youth Discipleship Ministry of First African Baptist Church is focused on developing young disciples of Jesus Christ who are committed to seeking God, shaping lives, and serving the world. We are passionate about drawing youth to Christ through innovative evangelism, discipling youth through creative, biblical teaching and developing youth for R.E.A.L. (Relevant, Empowered, Accountable, Loving) leadership.

Expanding Youth Initiatives

Rev. Paul Little, II, our Minister of Youth Discipleship is supported by a team of dynamic and energetic leaders who are committed to the holistic development of our youth. Under his leadership we have implemented several new initiatives:

• FAB Kidz - a high energy, Bible based worship experience for children
• Nu Skool - an innovative, Bible based worship experience for teens that meet in multiple locations
• The Kickback - a regular social event designed to allow youth to have fun and express themselves in a safe environment
• New Disciples Orientation for Youth - classes designed to help new disciples to become better acquainted with the Christian faith
• The Dream Team (Youth Council) - a core of young leaders who assist adult leaders with the ongoing operation of the ministry

• Rev. Paul A. Little, II Our Youth Minister

  Paul A. Little, II is a native of Macon, Georgia and the son of Dea. Paul A. Little, Sr. and Brenda G. Carswell. As a recipient of God's favor, he is blessed to be married to his best friend and the love of his life, Natalie H. Little. He currently serves as Minister of Youth and Young Adult Discipleship at First African Baptist Church of Savannah, Georgia under the leadership of Pastor Thurmond Tillman. Paul is the visionary leader of IMPACT Global, LLC, a ministry designed to impact people through Biblical preaching and teaching, leadership development, and ministry resources. Paul is frequently given the opportunity to travel extensively communicating God's Word in schools, on college campuses, and at various churches. Most of all, he is truly passionate about knowing Jesus and making Him known to others.
