Pastor Thurmond N. Tillman, Officers and Members of the the Historic First African Baptist Church extend to you an invitation to join us on Sunday, June 16th (Father’s Day) for a Jazz Concert celebrating 250 years of African American Music.

This Musical Event will take us from the earlier Slave Songs of our Ancestors, Stride Piano, Blues, Jazz Big & Swing Bands, Soul, Gospel, Disco, R & B and even Hip Hop.

You will hear music from Thomas Dorsey, Count Basie, Miles Davis, John Coltrane. Sam Cook, James Brown, Earth, Wind & Fire, Marvin Gaye and Roberta Flack, just to name a few. You never know who will show up.
